Black Moon Lilith (BML) had just arrived in outdoorsy Sagittarius for a 9-month long stay when I went out for my usual morning run to find the following scenes:

It’s called hoar frost; something fairly uncommon in these parts caused by the crystallization of dew freezing on a plant. Now with Black Moon Lilith often likened to the “whore” archetype, you might understand why I laughed my ass off at the phonetic similarity here – I was seeing actual physical evidence of BML’s transition into the sign of the Great Outdoors!

That aside, I often think of Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius as resonating with the Lady Godiva archetype – its special brand of defiance of convention carries political overtones for sure. The legend of Lady Godiva involved a woman who dared to ride naked through town (Sagittarius always is the nudist of the zodiac, LOL!) on horseback for the sake of making her husband honor his off-the-cuff remark that he would lower the taxes his subjects suffered under if she went streaking through the village square. Women + politics + nudity + horses = BML in Sagittarius in a nutshell.
And speaking of Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius’ connection to the equine, on the very same day that I saw the hoar frost above I received a text from a friend who sadly had to euthanize her aged and (recently) ailing mare – I often associate BML with euthanasia.
Astrology’s signs are all around us if we open our eyes to perceive; yet another Sagittarius keyword. There are obvious Truths but then there are the more hidden, occult Truths and this is Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius’ domain….for some, perhaps the next 9 months may prove a fertile time to explore things like Theosophy and Gnosticism.
